IELTS reschedules or cancels an exam

There are some conditions which would help you to reschedule or cancel your exam as well and you will get your refund too.

If you reschedule or cancel your application five weeks before the test date, you will receive a refund minus an administration charge.
If you reschedule or cancel within five weeks of the test date, you’ll be charged the full fee unless you have a serious medical reason.
If you provide a medical certificate within five days of the test date, you’ll receive a refund minus the local administrative cost.

Note: During the rescheduling or cancellation of the IELTS exam, a refund can take four to six weeks to process. You’ll get a free transfer in case of any medical problem/ ‘ force Majeure that you experience on the day of the test. If you again missed the second rescheduled test then you are not entitled to a refund and any further transfer to a new test date.

How long does it take to publish IELTS exam results?

If you have taken IELTS on paper then the result would be published 13 days after your test date and in3-5 days if you have taken IELTS on a computer.
